- Good running vehicle for recently released teen
- Housing funds for released young men and his family
- A former adult inmate needs a reliable car. He can do automobile repair if needed.
- Money to purchase N.I.V. Study Bibles.
There is an ongoing process to train and recruit adult volunteers to be Bible Study Leaders in juvenile facilities. In addition, we are training mentors, chaperones for field trips, and clerical staff for administrative support.
All volunteers must attend training and complete the application process, which includes obtaining recommendations from his / her pastor, employer, family members(s), plus state and federal fingerprinting.

Carmen Ministries looks to the local churches as its primary place of recruitment to:
- Lead Bible Study Sessions in juvenile institutions and assist with special trips such as wilderness hiking, canoeing, fishing trips, sporting trips, and trips to colleges.
- Minister to the entire family of the juvenile offender.
- Provide financial support to Carmen Ministries.
